Team & Workspace Overview
Every AIChatVault account belongs to an Organisation (workspace). All agents, knowledge sources, credits, contacts, and settings are owned by the organisation — not by individual users. This means your team shares a single workspace where everyone works on the same agents.
How the workspace works
- •One organisation is created automatically when you sign up.
- •All agents you create live inside your organisation.
- •Credits are shared across the whole organisation — all agents draw from the same pool.
- •Every user in the organisation can see all agents (subject to their role).
- •Settings → Members is where you manage who has access.
Team member limits by plan
| Plan | Max team members |
|---|---|
| Free | 1 (owner only) |
| Starter | 1 (owner only) |
| Pro | 3 |
| Business | 5 |
| Enterprise | Unlimited |
The Members page shows your current member count against your plan limit (e.g. "2 / 3 members"). When the limit is reached, the Invite Members button is disabled and you must upgrade your plan before adding more people.
ℹ️
Pending invitations (emails sent but not yet accepted) count toward the member limit. If you cancel a pending invitation, that slot is freed up immediately.
Three roles
| Role | Who it is | Set by |
|---|---|---|
| Owner | The account creator. Has full control including billing. There is exactly one owner per workspace. | Cannot be assigned via invite — it's the account that created the workspace. Can be transferred to another member. |
| Admin | A trusted colleague who can manage agents and members but cannot access billing. | Owner or Admin can invite new Admins |
| Member | A standard collaborator who can use and edit agents but cannot manage team or billing. | Owner or Admin can invite new Members |
Accessing team settings
Go to the main workspace sidebar → Master Settings → Members (at /settings/members). This page is only accessible to Owners and Admins.
